Baby abbotts okeetee corn snake help?

I routinely feed new aquisitions the day they arrive and then I leave them alone for at least 2 days after feeding. You can pick them up to return them to the cage after feeding, and then leave her alone. Most likely she was just investigating her new surroundings, but it's great that she ate for you. Give your snake two days to digest and get used to her new home, then start gentle short handling sessions. Feed every 5-7 days until she's off pinkies and then go to once a week. Do not handle after feeding except to put her back in her enclosure for 48 hours.
