Who's to say he didn't? Look at John Glenn, the man orbited the earth 3 times in 1962, and nothing happened to him, then he slipped in the tub while taking a shower and broke his hip; and Elvis Presley, the king of rock & roll, traveled the world many times, and died on his own cr@pper.
