Why isn't Obama 15-20 points ahead of McCain; EVERY OTHER Dem for the past 40 yrs has been at this pt in time?

Perhaps the American electorate is smarter than the media. They realize that Obama has not demonstrated the leadership experience necessary to run for President. I imagine his inadequacies will become more apparent as the campaign continues.
