Would like legal advice, please have some law background for this question?

I was just wondering, if I was to give someone advice on how to download copyrighted stuff from the internet for free (I.E. torrents, other ways), would I be liable in some way? Please back up your argument with a specific law or a judicial precedent. Best answer guaranteed! ;-)
